@Avangardia I bought it from one of the online beauty stores in Australia that stock a lot of K-beauty brands. I'm not sure how this information would help you though?
The texture is a thick watery gel, like watered down aloe vera. It is a little thicker than most serum. After spreading it, most of it gets absorbed and leaves a fine tacky feeling but much less than thick oily sunscreen for example.
It is a pity you have a reaction to one of it's ingredients! I found out recently that citrus oil is like that to me. Perhaps you could ask your local beauty stores if they have samples. I've not seen miniature versions of this serum unfortunately.

Alternative products
A blind buy for me. Saw a few good reviews and liked what the brand was 'selling' to me. Tried it over a few days and I like it. It does stay a little tacky for about 30mins but my sensitive skin did not react to it and my skin felt soft, smooth and cool to touch after applying this serum.
Update: I don't think it is a bad product but I don't think it is doing much for my skin even after 2 weeks of use. At most I think it offers a cool and refreshing feel on application for me. I'm seeing comparatively better skin when using a Beauty of Joseon serum instead.
