Clairol Colour Crave Hair Makeup Brilliant Amethyst - 45ml

I can't give a very detailed account of what this product is like but I had a very "meh" experience the one time I attempted to use it. The product specifies it's suitable for all hair shades even the really dark ones. Being a dark brunette, I thought this would do, especially since it's not permanent. My mother helped me put the product in and she had to really layer it on for any colour to show up. In the end she had spent so long on it she gave up. The purple colour didn't show up well on my hair, it just looked like I had slightly darker hair. This could be numerous things: my hair isn't very absorbant so the colour didn't stick, my hair is too thick which is why it took too long, my hair could just be too dark, etc.

In conclusion, the product would probably work wonders on someone with lighter hair, maybe a blonde shade. On darker hair, it's too much hassle. Definitely not for all hair types.
