Alternative products
My skin is very fair. I found this product and the same brand's Kids 50 to be extremely good. It leaves a white trace when being applied so it's easy to see if you've covered the skin well. It provedes very good protection from the sun. LSF 50 was blocking the rays so well that I stopped using it and switched to 30 to get some suntan. I have dry skin and it would be better if it was more oily but I still found it easy to apply. Its very water tight and can only be removed by vigorous toweling so it's quite efficient and I didn't need to apply it more than once or twice a day. It can come off on the bathing suit but leaves no permanent stains and it washed right off in the washer.
