Do i apply this cream at night and then in the next morning i wash my face and apply again??

I have dry acne prone skin and I tried b5 baume and this avene cream. The avene cream is better in my opinion, it is much more hydrating and restores my barrier after only one night, the skin feels soft like baby. The b5 creme left me dry so I dont really like it.
