@Léa_Sometimes, they should create an option to highlight when was the list with ingredients last updated for users to know that the product’s score isn’t valid anymore. If you upload pictures with ingredients list you’ll make the app inefficient because they’ll need to verify it and that takes time and manpower.

@Léa_Sometimes People will go into a store and do a quick scan of a product and check it on this app to see if it’s ok to buy. They don’t know how to read an inci list, that’s why they use this app. They trust the app and make a purchase based on what this app tells them.
I shared a valuable information, so that people will know and learn to double check the ingredients on the brand’s site or in person. What you shared is irrelevant, since it had nothing to do with what I was bringing attention to.
This app is good for those who are just starting to learn about ingredients in their products and choose the right ones for themselves, it is a good starting guide, but they should not trust it blindly, since the ingredient lists aren’t always complete or updated.

When the user takes a picture of a list of ingredients, the app automatically reads and posts the new list of ingredients. That will be real time progress. It’s an expensive feature to implement, but worth it.

@Léa_Sometimes this isn’t new technology. It’s been mass adopted for the last 4 years, if they wanted to implement it, they would have done it by now.
