Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol that gives consistency to cosmetic products. Very good emollient, it softens, smoothes and protects the skin. In hair products, it facilitates detangling while softening the hair. It is generally very suitable for dry skin. Cetyl alcohol can be produced from coconut oil. It is authorized for organicuse.
