Restriction in Europe:
The restrictions and maximum permitted concentrations are dependent on the use of the ingredient in:
a) Oxidation colouring agent for hair dyeing: after mixing under oxidative conditions, the maximum content applied to the hair must not exceed 0.45 %.
b) Non-oxidising colouring agent for hair dyeing: 3.0 %.
For a) and b)
- Do not use with nitrosation agents.
- Maximum nitrosamine content: 50 μg/kg
- Store in nitrite-free containers
