Cinnamic alcohol is one of the 24 allergens regulated by Europe. It is a perfuming agent found naturally in Cinnamon. It is used in cosmetics for its scents of cinnamon, daffodil, hyacinth or even jasmine.
Restriction in Europe:
III/69 The presence of the substance shall be indicated in the list of ingredients referred to in Article 19 (1) (g) when its concentration is greater:
- to 0,001% in products without rinsing
- to 0,01% in the products to be rinsed
