D-limonene is one of two isometric forms of limonene. It is one of the 24 regulated allergens in Europe. It is used in cosmetics for its lemony scent.
It is present in many plants, fruits and vegetables. It is also found in the skin of citrus fruits, pickles, celery or even in several essential oils.
