Namely Butane (like isobutane) is a refrigerant and aerosol used as a substitute for CFCs and HFCs to limit the impact on the ozone layer and the greenhouse effect. It has a low impact on the environment. It may have a weak anesthetic effect and / or an asphyxiant effect by depletion of the oxygen content. It is a low CO2 emitter.
Restriction in Europe: Prohibited when it contains more than 0.1% butadiene
