Citronellol is an odorous molecule which is one of the 24 allergens regulated by Europe. It is present in the essential oils of geranium, lemongrass and even rose.
Restriction in Europe:
III/86 The presence of the substance shall be indicated in the list of ingredients referred to in Article 19 (1) (g) when its concentration is greater:
- to 0,001% in products without rinsing
- to 0,01% in the products to be rinsed
