Namely ButylParaben is now proven to be an endocrine disruptor. On June 25th, 2020, ECHA added it to the list of substances of very high concern (SVHC).
Restriction in Europe: V/12a
The maximum concentration allowed in ready-to-use cosmetic preparations is:
- 0.14% (in acid) for the sum of the individual concentrations

- 0,8% (as acid) for the mixtures of substances mentioned in Nos. 12 and 12a, the sum of the individual concentrations of butylparaben and propylparaben and their salts not exceeding 0,14%

Do not use in non-rinsing products intended to be applied on the seat area of children under three years of age.
