This ingredient is a polysaccharide which is also called Fucocert or Fucogel. It is made up of an assembly of sugars, obtained by biotechnology from plant substrates such as corn. It is used as a moisturizing active, to create a biofilm that protects against dehydration, it helps stimulate cell renewal. It also has an interesting anti-aging activity so that it is often compared to hyaluronic acid.
