Namely Poloxamer 184 is a nonionic surfactant composed of three polymeric blocks. It is used in the formulation of skin cleansers, bath products, shampoos, conditioners, mouthwashes, eye makeup removers and other skin and hair products. It is mostly present in micellar waters.

Emulsifying : Promotes the formation of intimate mixtures between immiscible liquids by modifying the interfacial tension (water and oil)
Surfactant : Reduces the surface tension of cosmetics and contributes to the even distribution of the product when it is used

This ingredient is present in 0.3% of cosmetics.
