As part of cosmetics, honey is used as a skin moisturizer, humectant, antibacterial and flavoring. Honey is attributed to many properties such as treating acne, having antioxidant properties or even being a hair conditioner.
On the side of the antibacterial properties, it is the Manuka honey that must be favored: it is produced from the bushes of the same name in New Zealand. It contains a "Super" antibacterial called Methylglyoxal or MGO, ideal in a facial mask.
