Namely AACP is a polymer, derived more or less far from plastic. It contains hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups that allow the polymer to bind to both water and oil, allowing it to combine the two phases to create a single smooth consistency. It is used as a thickener and film-forming agent: It is commonly found in moisturizers, sunscreens, cleansers and anti-aging skin care in general.
