Namely CI 15985 also known as Yellow 6 / Yellow 6 Lake is an artificial yellow dye that is widely used in food under the name E110. It is found in drinks, sweets or ice creams. In cosmetics, it is used in many situations (makeup, shower gel ...).

The ingredient is authorized in Europe (subject to purity criteria, see below).
Note, however, that in the United States, the FDA requires certifications prior to any use of this colorant in products used around the eyes.
