Namely Chlorhexidine being poorly soluble in water is often used in its salt form (here Digluconate) in drugs or cosmetics. Chlorhexidine digluconate is a skin antiseptic used in Biseptine. In cosmetics, she is on the list of authorized curators (Appendix V). In deodorants, it can play an active role to limit the proliferation of bacteria responsible for body odor. In toothpastes, in the same way, it can help limit plaque formation.
