The climbazole is a topical antifungal agent often used in the treatment of fungal skin infections in humans, such as dandruff and eczema. It is therefore found mainly in anti-dandruff products.
Restriction in Europe:

Allowed in Anti-Dandruff Shampoos to be rinsed off up to a concentration of 2%.
For purposes other than inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in the product. This purpose must be stated in the product presentation.
